Committed to Combatting Food Waste & Hunger

At FoodWeb, we are dedicated to resolving the issues of food waste and hunger throughout our community.

FoodWeb is committed to sharing surplus and nourishing hope by connecting communities with fresh, healthy produce. Founded by high school students in the Lower Hudson Valley, we collaborate with food recovery organizations, local partners, and community members to create outdoor farmers markets for those in need. These markets provide dignified access to nutritious food while reducing waste and supporting a sustainable, equitable food system. Join us in our mission to empower communities and bring fresh food access to all.

Teddy explains where his passion to helping support his community through FoodWeb came from: "I'm interested in FoodWeb because since a young age, I have seen hungry people on the streets of New York city, and I have been taught about food insecurity in school. Natalie is currently a Junior at Scarsdale High School where she is involved in several activities. She is the co-president of the Scarsdale High School Innocence Club which is committed to raising awareness in the school community of the inequities in our criminal justice system as well as wrongful convictions.
